Canon Pixma Ts9550 Test New! [2026]

While the ADF simplifies multi-page scanning, it is important to note it only supports manual duplexing. 5. Running Costs: Ink Consumption
We printed an A3+ landscape shot of a sunset over a city skyline on Canon’s Pro Platinum paper. The Result: Stunning. The "Dynamic Range" feature is real. The TS9550 manages shadows better than any standard multifunction printer we’ve tested. The sky transitioned from deep crimson to pale yellow with zero banding. However, looking with a jeweler's loupe, we noticed slightly less sharpness in fine text overlays compared to a dedicated photo printer.

The first thing you notice about the TS9550 is its size. Despite being able to handle A3 paper, it is remarkably compact.
The printer's control panel is a 3.7-inch touchscreen display that tilts upwards for easy viewing. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, with clear menus and navigation. The TS9550 also features a USB port and an SD card slot on the front, making it easy to print from external devices.
The Canon PIXMA TS9550 uses the PGI-680XL and CLI-681XL ink cartridges, which are available in standard and high-yield versions. The standard yield cartridges produce around 200 pages in black and 180 pages in color, while the high-yield cartridges produce around 600 pages in black and 400 pages in color. Out of the box, the TS9550 is a handsome beast. Finished in a sleek, obsidian black (matching the high-end "Pro" series aesthetic), it is large, but surprisingly slender for a printer that handles A3 paper. The centerpiece is the massive 5.0-inch touchscreen. It feels like a smartphone glued to the front of a printer—responsive, bright, and mercifully easy to navigate.
The most striking feature of the TS9550 is its size. Canon has engineered an A3 printer that is barely larger than its A4 counterparts (468 x 366 x 193 mm). It sits comfortably on a standard desk without dominating the workspace. Paper Handling
Utilizing Canon's 5-individual ink system, the TS9550 produces vibrant and accurate colors, offering excellent contrast for photo prints. The Result: Stunning
